How developers built SQLumina

SQLumina was built by developers who struggled to learn SQL the usual way — reading syntax without ever running it against real data — and wanted something better: a place to write real queries, get real feedback, and see real progress.

It is the work of two founders, Yuva Kunaal (Founder) and Sai Meghana (Co-Founder). Each feature — Race Mode, real-world datasets, the SQL Sandbox, ER Diagrams, the Smart Debugger, the Query Visualizer, the Daily Puzzle, and public Profiles — grew out of a real frustration with how SQL is taught.
